Pinkaide has been making music for focus, rest, and sleep since 2008. StudyAide packages that music with a Pomodoro timer so you can use it while studying.

What is Pinkaide?

Pinkaide is an independent music label that produces and distributes functional music for focus, rest, and sleep. It started in 2008 as the music distributor Paranmusic and took the name Pinkaide in 2012. Since then it has released tracks on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Melon, and other platforms in Korea and abroad. In 2015 it shipped its first in-house app, Sweet Sleep, and began designing the listening experience directly. StudyAide is a focus app for studying that grew out of that work.

Who makes StudyAide's music?

Every focus track in StudyAide is made by Pinkaide. Nothing is pulled from external stock libraries or generated by AI. The YouTube channel 'Relaxing Music Pinkaide' (@pinkaide) has more than 450 videos, each labeled 'No AI Music'. Inside the app you can pick tracks by category: focus, Alpha- and Delta-band binaural beats, lo-fi, relaxation, and nature sounds.

The effects of brainwave entrainment are mixed in research and vary from person to person. StudyAide offers it as an option that may help with focus and makes no medical claims.

StudyAide in the press

In March 2017, JoongAng Ilbo featured StudyAide as a Google Play recommended study-helper app. In January 2023, Naeil Shinmun introduced it as a study-focus service designed directly by Pinkaide, a functional-music company.
